Ali recognizes the immense pain families experience when dealing with challenges such as trauma, high family conflict, and pornography addiction, and she is committed to supporting families on their journey to healthier living.  Ali also supports clients struggling with anxiety, depression, interpersonal trauma, behavioral issues, preoccupation with screens (phones, tablets/laptops) and teen/parent relationship issues. Ali's therapeutic foundation for all clients rests on attachment theory, family systems theory, developmental and interpersonal neurobiology theory, dialectical behavior therapy, and somatic, climate change and trauma-informed practice. She encourages clients to engage in holistic healing by incorporating mindfulness and sensorial awareness skill development in addition to development of insight as levers for change.
